China is set to get a taste of Newfoundland charm as “Come From Away” heads to its first non-English-speaking country next year.
The smash Canadian musical will open in Shanghai for a limited engagement next May with further dates and locations to to be announced.
“Come From Away” tells the true story of how the town of Gander welcomed more than 7,000 stranded airline passengers on 9/11.
The Tony Award-winning show has toured North America, played London’s West End and in Australia and it currently on stage at Toronto’s Elgin Theatre.
