A tenor renowned for a voice of beauty and heft that made him a star at the world’s top opera houses has died.
Marcello Giordani died at his home in Sicily on the weekend after suffering a heart attack.
Soprano and frequent singing partner Renee Fleming says Giordani’s death is a tragic loss. She called him a remarkably lovely man.
