TRUDEAU, TRUMP, OTHERS CONGRATULATE U.K. PRIME MINISTER TO BE JOHNSON

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has sent a congratulatory message on social media to newly elected British Conservative Leader Boris Johnson.

Trudeau took to Twitter to say he looks forward to working with him and also thanked outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May for her partnership and friendship and wished her all the best in her next chapter.
Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer also said on social media that he hopes he can work with Johnson to increase trade and create opportunity for all in both countries.
U.S. President Donald Trump says Johnson ”will be great!”
Premier Doug Ford says Johnson is a ”no-nonsense type of person,” who will do a ”great job,” and that he’d like to meet him if he ever travels to Britain.
Johnson, will officially take over from May in a ceremony Wednesday.
