The late B.B. King’s black, Gibson prototypical guitar is among the items from his estate that’ll go up for bid September 21st.

Gibson gave King the guitar for a milestone birthday.
The headstock has ”B.B. King 80” and a crown inlaid with mother-of-pearl.
Lucille’s estimated to be worth as much as $100-thousand.
King died four years ago at the age of 89.
The guitar was not the first of his to bear the name though.
There was the one in 1949, when while playing a club, a fire broke out as two men fought over a woman, and King narrowly escaped death after going back inside to save the instrument.
Upon learning that woman’s name was ”Lucille,” he gave the name to his guitar as a reminder to never fight over a woman or run into a burning building.
