Having to spring forward and fall back may become a thing of the past if the Provincial Government get it’s way.

A private bill titled the Sunshine Protection act has been introduced by MPP Marie-France LaLonde, looking to make Daylight Savings Time Permanent.

The move is also said to be up for discussion in Manitoba and BC, while Saskatchewan has historically kept the same time zone all year.

If the bill passes, March 8th 2020 would be the final time the clocks shift forward in Ontario.
