Violence has knocked on the front door of a Toronto politician.
Several gunshots were fired at the home of city councillor John Filion early Thursday morning.
One actually struck a wall, others hit his parked vehicle.
Filion, who’s represented the Willowdale ward for 28 years, was not hurt.
”I suspect I have been targeted and that this is related to my work as a city councillor. Both incidents were reported to Toronto Police at the time they occurred,” said Fillion.
The first incident was three weeks ago, when the councillor says a man with a weapon unsuccessfully tried to force his way into his home.
