18-year old Bianca Andreescu is on top of the tennis world this morning after going from wild card entry to champion at Indian Wells.

Andreescu upset eighth-seeded German Angelique Kerber 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 for the win and with the victory she is projected to rise 36 spots to #24 in the WTA Tour rankings.

She will also cash a pay cheque worth more than $1.3 million US.
