One of the movie world’s most beloved performers is to receive the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at this summer’s 76th Venice International Film Festival.
The 83 year old Oscar-winner British actress will receive the award in September.
Dame Julie Andrews is known for her work in “Mary Poppins,” “The Princess Diaries” and “Victor/Victoria” and the Broadway musicals “My Fair Lady” and “Camelot.”
The festival runs from August 28th through September 7th.
