Nearly 15 months after they were found murdered in their home, the family of Barry and Honey Sherman would to demolish the Old Colony Road mansion.

An agent for the family has expressed that desire in a letter to the city of Toronto’s building department.
”No one will purchase the home as it presently stands,” the letter reads.
”The house has been vacant for the past year.  Along with bad memories and a stigma attached due to the incident that took place, it’s the family’s desire to level the house, clean up the site, fill in the pool and put the lot up for sale.”
Barry and Honey Sherman were found in their home in December 2017.
No one has been charged in their deaths.
Last October a private investigation team put together by the couple’s four children announced a $10-million reward with any information and tips passed on to police.
The demolition request is on the agenda for the March 19 meeting of North York Community Council.
