World Economic Forum executives say Germany’s Angela Merkel, Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu and Shinzo Abe of Japan will be among world leaders attending its annual Davos event.
Forum founder Klaus Schwab offered a preview of the event next week – saying a “re-moralization” of globalization is needed.
He says globalization has produced many “winners” over the last generation or so – and now it’s time to look after the losers who have been left behind.
U-S President Donald Trump had planned to attend the event – but withdrew amid the American government shutdown.
