Zoomer actor/director Sean Penn is in Turkey working on a documentary about the slaying of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.

The 58-year old was spotted directing shooting this week outside the building where Khashoggi was killed and dismembered October 2 as well as at the residence of the Saudi consul general.

Khashoggi was a Washington Post columnist who was critical of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman.

Penn’s activism has covered peace in the Middle East, the fight against drug cartels and countering global warming.
