The day after the Public Health Agency of Canada warned you not to consume romaine lettuce products because of an E. coli outbreak, one grocery chain’s taken action.

Sobeys Inc. has pulled over 300 products from shelves at Sobeys, Safeway, IGA, Thrifty Foods, Foodland, FreshCo and Lawton’s Drug Stores across Canada.
The outbreak has sickened 32 people in 11 U.S. states and 18 people in Canada – three in Ontario, the rest in Quebec.
The strain is different than the one linked to romaine lettuce earlier this year, but appears similar to last year’s outbreak linked to leafy greens.
