GO TRAIN SERVICE IMPROVING IN GREATER TORONTO / HAMILTON AREA

Starting Monday, GO train riders on the Lakeshore lines will have access to 220 new trips per week – an increase of nearly 18%.
There’ll be 27 new train trips on the GO Lakeshore East corridor, up 21%, which will double midday, weekday service, resulting in a train every 15-minutes.
On the GO Lakeshore West, there’ll be 17 new weekday trips with six during rush hour and 11 midday with a new train every hour.   That’s an increase of 50 % more midday trains and nearly 14% overall.
The Kitchener line will see a new morning rush hour train trip from Malton to Union Station as well as adding two more cars on two morning and two evening trips.
There’ll also be more than 180 new bus trips across the GTHA and a new stop at Highway 404 and Major Mackenzie in Richmond Hill.
