Zoomer legend Glenn Close says it would be interesting to remake her classic thriller “Fatal Attraction” re-set in the here an now.

Close told the BBC, she wasn’t playing the character “Alex Forrest” as one of the great villans of all time in the 188 film, but rather as a woman in crisis at a time when mental health and mental illnesses were not talked about at all.

In the original film, Close’s character has an affair with a man played by Michael Douglas and is so disturbed, she boils the family bunny in reaction to being to being dumped.

But Close says there is no explanation for Forrest’s behaviour and she thinks audiences in 2018 would find that fascinating.
