A tourist is being treated in Portugal – after falling into an 8 foot deep hole – that’s part of an installation by top British artist Anish Kapoor.

It happened at the Serralves Museum in Porto.

The “Descent Into Limbo” installation involves a building which visitors enter – where there’s a circular hole in the floor painted completely black – creating the illusion of a bottomless void.

Reports say a 60-year old Italian man tumbled into void while admiring the installation.

The injured tourist is now said to be ok – and is almost ready to return home.

The piece is part of the Kapoor exhibition “Works, Thoughts, Experiments” which runs through January 6th.
