They said, he said – allegedly.
THEY are the Ford PCs and HE is NDP House Leader Gilles Bisson, who’s accused of mocking Tory Kaleed Rasheed’s accent when the Mississauga East-Cooksville MPP was asking a question in the legislature about the cost of a possible referendum on the plan to reduce the size of Toronto city council.
Bisson vehemently denies the accusation.
”I am a person who never uses that language and to be accused I think is wrong and it’s only (Doug) Ford trying to change the channel. That’s what this is about. (Reporter asks what happens if they produce the audio? I know what I said and I didn’t say that.”

Party leader Andrea Horwath, who sits beside Bisson, says he did not do what he’s accused of.
”I have to say that I’m disgusted with Mr. Ford. Look, Mr. Ford lies through his teeth. And he lied again today.”
PC Finance Minister Vic Fedeli sits across from Bisson and says he saw and heard Bisson ”loudly and clearly.”
The government says it will not answer questions from the NDP until it apologizes.
