About 500, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Deputy premier Christine Elliott and Mayor John Tory were at the Scarborough service for 18-year-old Reese Fallon.

Meanwhile, there was a funeral in Markham for 10-year-old Julianna Kozis.
The prime minister also stopped by the makeshift memorial in Greektown and said watching the young mourners brought back recollections of the memorial service for his 23-year-old brother, Michel, who died 20 years.

”I just wanted to tell those young people, and everyone who is grieving and mourning that our loved ones, particularly extraordinary, beautiful ones like the two girls we lost, will be with us forever,” said Trudeau after laying a bouquet at the makeshift memorial.
