Christine Moore will stay in the NDP caucus and resume her parliamentary duties after an independent investigation found the Quebec MP did not engage in sexual harassment or abuse her authority.

Reacting to the findings, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says the investigator found Moore was not guilty of any of the allegations by a former soldier.
The inquiry was launched after Moore was accused of inappropriate behaviour by ex-soldier Glen Kirkland.

She met him in 2013 when he testified before a parliamentary committee Moore was sitting on.
Kirkland said Moore invited him to her office and encouraged him to have a drink, then later followed him to his hotel room and spent the night.
Moore denied his claims, insisting they were in a romantic relationship that lasted four months before she broke it off.
Kirkland felt there was a ”power imbalance,” because she was a politician and he was a former member of the military.
