One of the three dozen orders of business was to fire Ed Clark, who made $1-a-year, as former premier Kathleen Wynne’s advisor and privatization czar.

Another just coming to light was to appoint Dr. Rueben Devlin, a senior advisor on Ford’s election campaign and a member of his transition team, to the premier’s council on improving healthcare and ending hallway medicine.

He’ll make 348-thousand-a-year.
Children, Community and Social Services Minister Lisa MacLeod defends the move.
”We hired somebody who we campaigned on very clearly over a several month period, indicating that this individual (Devlin) will be leading reforms in health care.  That was a promise we made and a promise we kept.”
MacLeod adds he is going to be ”worth every penny” that are going to be seen in the results.
