It is now official!

Second City TV veteran Rick Moranis will be part of this weekend’s reunion special for the Emmy Award-winning Canadian sketch comedy series.

Moranis will join Dave Thomas, Joe Flaherty, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Catherine O’Hara and Martin Short for a special directed by Martin Scorsese, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and taped before a live audience at Toronto’s Elgin Theatre.

Moranis hasn’t been as visible on the public stage as some of the other cast members in recent years and wasn’t initially expected to be a part of the reunion.

The special will be shot this Sunday (May 13th) and will air next year.
