The most prolific writer in the crime fiction business shows no sign of slowing down. 71-year old James Patterson is out with another new book.
Patterson says he’s fortunate to have both the components of a successful author, plenty of ideas and the ability to write reasonably well.
HIs latest effort is called “Texas Rangers”. It follows the story of a Texas Ranger suspected of murdering his ex-wife.
The author and philanthropist was the first person to sell over a million e-books and in 2016, he topped Forbes’s list of highest-paid authors for the third consecutive year, with an income of $95 million and a total income over the past decade estimated at $700 million.
Patterson has been recognized as a “passionate campaigner to make books and reading a national priority” and has supported universities, teachers colleges, independent bookstores, school libraries and students by donating millions of dollars in grants and scholarships.
