A spokesperson for the festival says the 76-year-old soul icon has been ordered ”not to perform in the coming months.”
Anyone who bought tickets through Ticketmaster or the Sony Centre box Office will be contacted and receive a full refund.
The June 28 show was the only Canadian concert on her schedule and was supposed to make up for a concert Canada Day 2017, that was also scrubbed for health issues.
Franklin recently cancelled a March show in New Jersey and an appearance at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival in late April.
