The day after Patrick Brown decided to drop out of the Ontario PC leadership race, the interim leader says the party’s turning the page.
”Our party is bigger than one person and it’s time that we move forward on it,” said Vic Fedeli, who would not answer questions related to his decision to remove Brown from the party caucus nor will he say if Brown will be allowed to run as a candidate in the June election.
”We have a new leader in 11 days and I will absolutely stand by any decisions made by the new leader.”
Four candidates remain in the race.
Christine Elliott, Tanya Granic Allen, Caroline Mulroney and Doug Ford will take part in the last debate tomorrow night in Ottawa with online voting by party members starting Friday.
The new leader will be announced March 10.
