A design team has been selected to develop plans for a new multi-purpose park at Ontario Place.

The province says D-T-A-H will lead the design work for the new green space on Toronto’s waterfront – to be known as The Celebration Common.

The new park on the east end of Ontario Place is roughly the size of 14 football fields – and would be used year-round for recreation, open-air cultural activities, festivals and community events.
D-T-A-H is an award-winning design firm.

It has worked on other waterfront projects – including the revitalization of Queens Quay and the central Toronto waterfront.
