A Canadian anti-smoking group wants the federal government to pay attention to price increases it says are reaping tobacco companies millions.
Physicians for a Smoke Free Canada says the tobacco companies have quietly been raising their prices 20 to 30 cents at a time over the past several years resulting in million dollar profits.
The federal government has targeted cutting smoking rates by a third by 2035.
