Not only are Toronto cabbies facing competition from UBER, there is a new on-demand riding sharing service coming to town that will complete with both.

LYFT, which competes with UBER in the United States and claims to be the fastest growing on-demand transportation service south of the border, will officially begin operating in Toronto by the end of the year.

However, Lyft will begin recruiting drivers in Toronto beginning today.  Like UBER, LYFT operates on a mobile app.
