FORMER BLUE JAY ROY HALLADAY KILLED IN SMALL PLANE CRASH OFF FLORIDA GULF COAST

One time Blue Jays pitcher Roy Halladay has been killed after a small seaplane crashed in the Gulf of Mexico off the Florida coast. 
He was the only one aboard at the time.

An investigation will aim to determine the cause of the crash.

The 40-year-old Halladay won the Cy Young Award twice – first with the Blue Jays in 2003 and again in 2010 with the Philadelphia Phillies.
He pitched 12 seasons with Toronto (1998-2009) and had a won-loss record of 148-76.
