A prolific French actress, whose movie career spanned more than 8 decades has died at the age of 100.

Danielle Darrieux appeared in dozens of plays and more than 100 films during her long acting career.  She also made a name for herself as a chanteuse.

Darrieux started as precocious, fresh-faced teen, making her film debut at 14 and acted well into her 90’s.
