Montreal’s Museum of Contemporary Art will stage a series of concerts based on the albums of Leonard Cohen, to accompany the museum’s exhibition about the Montreal-born singer songwriter and poet.
The exhibition, entitled simply “Leonard Cohen – A Crack in Everything” opens November 9th and runs through April 9th.
The five concerts, one for each month of the exhibit, begin November 30th and feature musicians and guest singers from Montreal who will perform an entire Cohen album.
Cohen is also the subject of two murals; one of them, twenty stories tall on a downtown building is expected to be among the largest in the city.
Cohen died last November at the age of 82.
