A Polish film company has employed more than 100 artists world wide, to paint some 65 thousand scenes, which have been made into the worlds first fully painted movie.
It’s called “Loving Vincent” and each frame was recreated as a painting in the style of van Gogh.
After shooting scenes as a live action film against a green screen, each frame was recreated as a painting in the Master’s style.

The paintings were all done in oil, with every 12 paintings shot representing one second of animation.
The movie debuted in Canada earlier this month at the Sudbury International Film Festival and will open in other venues across North American over the next couple of months.
