In his first speech to the United Nations General Assembly, Donald Trump stuck to his script and had a strong, clear message for North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Unless Pyongyang turns down the nuclear heat, the U.S. president said, ”We will have no choice than to totally destroy North Korea.”
“Rocket man is on a suicide mission for himself and his regime.”
North Korea’s Ambassador to the UN, left his seat before Trump arrived while a junior North Korean diplomat remained in the delegation’s front-row seat to hear Trump’s speech.
Before the president addressed the 193-member body, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres appealed steps be taken to avoid war with North Korea.
”This is the time for statesmanship. We must not sleepwalk our way into war.”
The 15-member Security Council’s unanimously imposed nine rounds of sanctions on the North since 2006.
