Wawa’s famous giant Canada goose is about to fly the coop.
The popular landmark – which is visited by about 50-thousand people a year – has appeared on a Canada Post stamp and in a Hollywood movie.
The iconic goose is about to be replaced – by a 300-thousand-dollar stainless steel copy – that was made in Trenton.
The new bird will be unveiled on Canada Day – and will be eight and a half metres tall – with a six-metre wingspan.
