Associate chief William Aubry says the Canadian is among seven still in hospital after the incident in which an 18-year-old from Michigan was killed.
Her 13-year-ols sister was among the 22 hurt.
No other details about the Canadian have been released.
Police say three others remain in critical condition with head injuries while a fourth’s being treated for a collapsed lung and broken pelvis.
Prosecutors say the 26-year-old driver, who faces felony murder charges, told authorities he wanted to ”kill them all” and that police should have shot him to stop him.
The accused is also said to have told police he’d smoked marijuana laced with PCP.
