The 100th anniversary of the birth of former U-S President John Kennedy – is coming up on May 29th.
And a month before that – JFK’s summer diary from 1945 is going to auction.

The 61-page diary, was written when the future President was a Hearst newspaper war correspondent – and captures a moment in time never before fully appreciated.

The diary’s loose-leaf pages are bound in black leather.  Twelve of them were handwritten – and 49 were typed.
The historic artifact belonged to Deirdre Henderson who began working for then-Senator John Kennedy in 1959.
The JFK diary goes to auction in Boston on April 26th.
