The lunch of the future is here.
A company is testing out a groundbreaking new way to deliver food – to customers in Washington, D-C.
Postmates is using six-wheeled robots that can travel up to six kilometres an hour – and use sensors and cameras to navigate sidewalks.
The knee-high robots can also cross the street.
Customers order online and once the robot arrives at their location – they receive a text with a code to unlock the device – and pick up their food.
