We knew him as Dr. Bombay on “Bewitched” and Colonel Crittendon on “Hogan’s Heroes.”

A family spokesman says Bernard Fox has died at the age of 89.

The Welsh-born actor’s many credits included a virtual whose who of 1960’s TV shows including “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” ”McHale’s Navy” and “Columbo.”

He also appeared in both the 1997 movie “Titanic” and the 1958 version of the ship tragedy “A Night to Remember.”

Fox died yesterday in Los Angeles of heart failure.  He was 89
