Members of Toronto’s late night scene want a later “last call.”
The city’s  Music Industry Advisory Council will be asking the Economic Development Committee today – to consider later closing time for bars.
They say 2am is simply – too early.
king-street-west-torontoCouncillor Michael Thomson says the Economic Committee wants to look at a number of issues surrounding the request – including noise and security – and whether there’ll be increased policing costs stemming from such a decision.
Thomson is the councillor for ward 37 – Scarborough Centre.
