Christie, who nearly became Trump’s running-mate, is still be involved in the transition.
Vice-chairs of the committee will be former house speaker Newt Gingrich, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, retired Lt.-Gen. Michael Flynn and Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions.

Three of Trump’s adult children are also on the transition executive committee – Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka, along with her husband Jared Kushner.
Pence says the team’s made up of the right people to ”bring about fundamental change in Washington.”
