The 63 year old multi-Juno Award winning Canadian performer was honoured last night in Toronto’s Distillery District by World Vision. After receiving an award of gratitude from World Vision, Cochrane spoke about what motivates him.

“The experiences have helped make me a better person, they’ve helped make me more aware of the world and more aware of the broader perspective of the human condition, and what other people go through in other places,” Cochrane explained.

The evening also included a screening of 25 Years on the Highway, a documentary on Cochrane’s humanitarian work.
