Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young’s speaking out against the Dakota Access Pipeline.

The 70-year-old Toronto-born entertainment icon has released a video ‘Indian Givers,’ which includes the words, ”We keep takin’ what we give away, just like what we call Indian giver, it makes you sick and gives you shivers.”
The music video shows clips of Young driving his car and footage of recent anti-pipeline demonstrations.

Hundreds, sometimes thousands, have recently gathered north of the Standing Rock Indian Reservation in North Dakota to protest construction of the four-state, nearly $4-billion pipeline.
Young previously voiced opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline with his 2014 song ”Who’s Gonna Stand Up?”
