PUBLIC SERVICE ALLIANCE OF CANADA MEMBERS AND FEDS STALLED

The biggest civil service union in the country is staring down the federal government.

And The Public Service Alliance of Canada says there’s been no movement aimed at reaching a collective agreement for some 90-thousand public servants.

President Robyn Benson says PSAC is thinking about steps that could have an impact on everything from the issuance of child tax benefits – to passports.

The Treasury Board of Canada bargains on behalf of the government and it has signalled that it is not prepared to back away – from proposed changes to sick leave for federal employees.
