His name is Ludwig.

Ludwig is currently working residents 1 Kenton Place, a home in north Toronto for those suffering from alzheimers and dementia.
The project’s lead researcher Frank Rudzicz says Ludwig has cameras for eyes and can monitor patients for changes in speech patterns and facial expressions.
Ludwig was introduced at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference in Toronto this week.  He is expected to become a permanent resident of the home beginning in August.
