Two Air Transat pilots remain behind bars for allegedly preparing to fly from Glasgow while under the influence of alcohol.
Thirty-nine-year-old Jean-Francois Perreault and 37-year-old Imran Zafar Syed have been remanded in custody after their court hearing and will next appear within eight days.

In the meantime, their plane, which was grounded overnight, arrived at Pearson International Airport today.
The delay did not seem to bother flyers.
One vacationer says ”the idea of drunk pilots is pretty scary.  But they took great care of us.  I’m very thankful they handled this so well.”
According to many on the flight, Air Transat paid for their hotel stay, a meal and gave $220 worth of travel vouchers.
The airline is awaiting the outcome of proceedings before commenting.
The pilots’ union did not comment on their situation either but calls substance abuse among its members ”extremely rare.”
