Canadian zoomer Actress Kim Cattrall has come clean about why she was forced to withdraw from a play at London’s Royal Court last year.
The Sex and the City star cites chronic insomnia as the cause.
The 59-year-old English-born, Canadian-raised actress was due to play the title role in “Linda” but pulled out shortly before it opened. She says she didn’t want to let down the audience, the theatre, the playwright or the other actors, but adds being unable to sleep felt like “a gorilla sitting on her chest”. She says at that point she realized the work she needed to do on her sanity was more important than the play.
Cattrall is currently starring in the Canadian TV production of “Sensitive Skin.”
