The World Health Organization is convening a committee to consider whether the Rio Summer Olympics should proceed as planned.
The W-H-O is exercising an extra-high degree of caution because of concerns over the threat of the Zika virus.
The organization wants to delve into the question of whether the Olympics should go ahead – or if the games should be delayed in the face of those concerns.
The meeting is due to take place soon – and the committee’s decision will be made public.
