City hall claims 78 property owners of 83 medical marijuana shops are on notice that they’re violating the zoning bylaw.
They’ve also been warned they might face charges if they continue operating.
Details of the raids, part of an investigation dubbed ‘Project Claudia’, will be made public at 10:30am Friday at police headquarters.
The prime minister has said marijuana will be decriminalized but that the laws won’t be changed until next year.
Mayor John Tory says he supports decriminalization but not the dispensaries which he calls ”bogus,” pointing out they’re breaking the law.
