The method by which Toronto could regulate the increasing number of marijuana dispensaries – is the subject of a report that’s expected at city hall June 27th.
The tabling of Mayor John Tory’s motion at the Licensing and Standards committee – comes the day after police started handing out notices to property owners – where dispensaries are being run.
The Trudeau government has said it’ll introduce legislation next year to legalize pot.
Meanwhile–some sections of internal Toronto Police reports, made after SIU investigations – will now be made public.
The announcement comes from the Toronto police services board – which says the new policy will be in place by mid-June.
It also calls on the chief to release administrative reports concerning the fatal police shooting of Andrew Loku – the hammer wielding man who was killed in July last year.
