Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is becoming more informative about his government’s plan to invest in public transit.
During a stop in Sault Ste.Marie, Trudeau said the $3.4 billion dollars included in last month’s budget for transit infrastructure – will begin flowing to municipalities this year – and provinces and cities and towns – can spend the money as they see fit.
Trudeau did not specify how much cash individual communities would receive – but he said Ontario could expect to get about half the money.
