An 89-year-old Holocaust survivor’s life-long desire to sing the U.S. national anthem at Comerica Park is being granted.
Hermina Hirsch of the northern Detroit suburb of Southfield has been a Tigers fan since moving there over 60 years ago.
At a recent family dinner, she talked about her dream to sing the Star Spangled Banner at a major league game.
So her family recorded a video of her signing her rendition and shared it on social media.

The Tigers saw this and the team’s said her wish will come true May 21 before the game against Tampa.
