The co-founders of Toronto’s Choir! Choir! Choir! have been invited to New York City to lead star-studded sing-along tributes to David Bowie.
Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman have been called upon to perform Bowie galas after a video of “Choir! Choir! Choir!” singing Space Oddity went viral. It was filmed at the Art Gallery of Ontario just days after the singer’s death from cancer on January 10th at the age of 69.
They’ll lead a singalong at tonight’s tribute at Carnegie Hall, featuring performances by Cyndi Lauper, the Flaming Lips and many other big names.
Tomorrow night, at Radio City Music Hall, the duo will lead the audience and 20 different artists, including Blondie, in the finale of a David Bowie tribute night.
